Kumar Menon is originally from Kerala - Indian. He moved to the Isle of Man in 2003 as a catering student. It wasn't long before he fell in love with the island so much that it is now his second home.
Kumar started Leela's Kitchen in 2011 in memory of his late grandmother Leela. Kumar's grandmother and mother are the inspiration behind his passion for food, especially Indian food, spices and the culinary journey. To continue the family tradition and journey Kumar's daughter Leela is also interested in food and spices.
