"Tales from the Isle of Man" Jinny The Witch and The Magic Tunnel.
Written and illustrated by Edith Quaggin.
A well written, and illustrated children's book, about two small engines called Ant & Bee from Laxey Mines Railway who meet Jinny the Witch (a well known witch from Manx folklore) and Hop tu Naa which is the Manx celebration of Halloween.
The story has also been translated, on the left side of the pages, into Manx language, with support from Culture Vannin.
All profits from the sale of the book go to the upkeep of the volunteer-run "Great Laxey Mine Railway"
The second in a series of books about "Bee" & "Ant"
In real life, The Great Laxey Mines Railway is one of the most popular attractions at Hop tu Naa when the volunteers all dress up and take children on a ghostly ride inside the tunnel which goes under the road in Laxey.
