A lifelong motorcycle, steam and sports fanatic, John has been fortunate enough to work as a freelance technical illustrator for a variety of organisations including the Subaru World Rally Team.
The Isle of Man has always been a special place for John, who first visited the TT in 1961. His creative motorcycle cartoons feature Manx and TT landmarks, as well as the ‘TT Legends’ collection featuring racing greats such as Hailwood, Agostini, Duke & Dunlop. Other subjects include steam engines and railway locomotives, vintage tractors, horses, classic cars and commercial vehicles, canal boats, aircraft and even hot air balloons! His most recent art work includes a series of humorous ‘Knights Cartoons’ that are sure to induce a smile!
John regularly donates his artwork to charities and fund-raising events. He also exhibits at selected shows and events, most notably the Great Dorset Steam Fair for whom he has supplied catalogue artwork for thirty years.
