Chrissie Moss - Manx Pets in Pencils
Chrissie qualified as a Technical Illustrator in the 1970s at Blackpool College of Art and Technology. After working as a Technical Illustrator for some years she later became a freelance illustrator where she concentrated on more natural subjects using the draughtsman's skills she gained to capture detail.
Chrissie also paints botanical subjects and has studied Botanical Illustration in recent years. But animals still remain her passion and first love. Chrissie also paints landscapes and just loves walking and sketching outdoors.

Presence of Mann commissioned Chrissie to do a scene unique to the Isle of Man and she came up with a view of the Calf of Man from The Sound. MostlyManx shop has mugs plates and trinket boxes with this art work on and hopes to work with Chrissie again soon.
