The traditional Manx Tartan,
 
Blue for the sea, Green for the hills, Gold for the gorse, Purple for the heather and White for the cottages
 

The Manx Hunting Tartan

designed by D Gordon Teall of Teallach in 1980 due to the demand for a more muted design reflecting the Autumnal Manx countryside. L axey Woollen Mills now have the licence to weave this tartan which is proving very popular in the kilt range for weddings etc.

Grey for the rocks, Green for the Glens, Ochre for the bracken, Gold for the Cushag, Storm Grey for the sea, Mist for Manannan's veil
