 | Julia Ashby Smyth lives on the beautiful Isle of Man, in a little house at the edge of Glen Elfin, surrounded by trees and perched on the slopes of North Barrule. Julia has been a freelance illustrator since 1989 and has produced all manner of work for all types of clients, including The Manx Museum, Isle of Man Post Office, Okells Ales, various banks and trust companies, private commissions, and has even interior designed a supermarket. Julia is the art gallery curator above Presence of Mann at the Laxey Woollen Mills complex.
Presence of Mann stock a selection of Julia's work which she has made into greeting cards due to public demand. The detail in each print has to be seen to be believed. Julia's cards range from Manannans cloak and Manx folklore characters to cats and Manx scenes. |
