Laxey Wheel (said to be the largest working water wheel in the world) was built in 1854 to pump water from the lead mines in Laxey. It was designed by Manxman, Robert Casement, and named Lady Isabella after the wife of the then Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man. It measures approx 22m x 1.8m or 72ft 6in x 6ft with a circumference of 228ft. We have a huge selection of Laxey wheel souvenirs from Laxey Wheel resin models, keyrings, fridge magnets and mugs, to photographic greeting cards of Laxey Wheel and crystal glass blocks with Laxey wheel laser etched in 3d
